Take me away to better days

Listening to: Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield

I'm lazy, don't want to caption the pictures.

I was about ten minutes late for Untraceable yesterday night. The movie was... very disturbing to say the least. It's still about 3 stars worth, but I hate the feeling of leaving the cinema with dark and gory images in my head. Some others thought it was awesome, but not for me. I will never pay ten bucks just to catch a movie like that again, at least not for the next few years. I remember the only other movies I watched to have left me so heavy hearted and dull, was I Know Who Killed Me & Hard Candy. And maybe American Beauty. But AB had some sort of appeal. You guys should catch it.

Anyway the movie totally killed my happy mood, if I even had any at that time, so after that I was so lifeless and dead. Some of them went home, and Amelia Claire Clarence Javier Stefanie & I went to pool instead. Which I was so horrible at. I am getting worse and worse, seriously. I think I was so much better when I just picked pool up. Maybe this has got something to do with my current horribly low self-esteem, or something.

We got to know the team lineups today after training, and the lineup for girls was exactly as I had expected (haha I said that so many times today). Will have to skip one training per week because of SSP. Sigh.

Today was extremely unproductive because I stayed at home, couldn't find anyone to study with outside. So siannn because so little people are updating their blogs! I miss so many people ):

The sun is on my side and takes me for a ride
I smile up to the sky, I know I'll be alright

I can't believe it. I just watched another disturbing movie, called "Welcome To the Dollhouse". It was released all the way back in 1995 and it stars Heather Matarazzo, who is more well known as Lilly Moscovitz in "The Princess Diaries". This movie is very very emotionally stirring in a horribly intangible, disturbing way, but not in a gory sense.

So this lead character, called Dawn, is a 7th grader in junior high school who is like the ultimate school reject. Her whole life sucks, because her family is totally inattentive towards her and she gets made fun of in school all the time. Plus other sad stuff. One of the most horrible scenes was one where Dawn's sister, Missy, got kidnapped, and she left home by herself in the night to travel to New York to look for her. When Dawn called home in the morning, Missy was found already, but her horrible mother was either totally unaware that she went missing over the night, or she didn't care.

This is terribly depressing. I am so, like, dull and stoic now.

Oh, btw I watched the movie accidentally. I was actually looking to listen to Danity Kane's Welcome To the Dollhouse song. Hahaha. Okay goodnight.

XOXO
